Why?

I see you five days a week. I talk for longer. And yet,

I miss you...

Why?

When the light shines, it's time to see

Lately all kinds of crap has been happening around me.

I almost cut myself on glass, my phone has been on the edge of madness, dust is killing me, I tried to give an article titled "God gave me asthma, and i know why" to the college magazine but rational thinking prevailed.

The only thing that's been normal is that I've not gone for a swim in quite a while now, in the sea that is.

Lets face it, the city of Chennai hardly has anything going for it. There is so much humidity that my cell has water inside it (got it repaired). There is a Yajna (see here) at every second (or third) turn. Especially along my college bus route.

All this agony, just because I am here in this city.

But on the other hand, there are some good things about the city too.

The mountains behind the Airport make for good trekking, if you manage to slip in undetected ;) Nothing like a good snack above a mountain... wonder if domino's delivers there.

A particular church above a hill offers a breathtaking view of the airport and since it's above a hill, the air is a bit cleaner too.

Found two places to eat good, Authentic North Indian food. Good news: They fit my wallet size too.

Now if only I could find some trekking shoes .....

And in the end, there was a beginning.
